ADVISING CENTRE...Serving the needs of student, faculty and staff of African descent in
DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY
and the UNIVERSITY OF
KING'S COLLEGE.
The Black Student Advising Center is part of the Student Services Department of Dalhousie University. Established in 1989, the Black Student Advising Center is the first of its kind in Canada and supports all students of African descent in pursuit of post-secondary education.
The centre provides a resource room for peer support, a space for meeting and academic encouragement. It also includes a computer lab that provides internet access. All students can visit us for information on employment, scholarships, bursaries and events, both on campus, off campus and in the African Nova Scotian Community.
The Advisor and Center are available to students, faculty and staff of ALL races and ethnic backgrounds who are associated with Dalhousie University and the University Of Kings College.
